Die Cassamance
ursprünglich, wildromantisch mit Kokospalmen am Atlantik
gelegen Du findest noch Fischer mit ihren Pirogen in den Mangrovenwäldern
kannst  viele Vogelarten und Tiere beobachten.    
Kunsthandwerker, Batikstoffe, Ziegen-Rinderhirten
Ananasplantagen, Reisfelder, in der Savanne Erdnüsse,
Palmöl, das in den Dörfern hergewstellt wird
große Märkte mit vielseitigem Angebot
Die Cassamance, für  Senegal-Liebhaber.
Die aufgeschlossenen freundlichen Menschen leben
dort noch in ihren Traditionen. Tanz und Musik gehören
häufig noch zum Alltag. Von hier kommt das Gras für ein
traditionell gedecktes Dach auf meinem Rundhaus.
Mein letzter Aufenthalt in der Cassamance, seltsam und denkwürdig.

this part of the senegal is very special, a wild and romantic place with
wonderful old coconut trees on th atlantik coast.
the fishermen in their piroges in the magroves and a varity of birds, animals
and flowers you can watch. art manufacturing of wood and fabrics ( batik)
shepherd with their goats and cattles nomades in the savanne.
also big coloured markets, peanut fieldes, palmoil manufacturing.
rice fields and the special gras for my roof.
music and dance part of the daily traditional life.
my last visit  was memorable and strange in a special way.
